A bright and biophilic co-working space in Almaty blending Scandinavian minimalism, natural textures, and soft colors for a calm and inspiring work environment

CO-WORKING
Happy Kingdom interior — decorative tree and purple skirt, design by Untitled №16

The CDC 2 Co-Working project redefines the modern workspace through light, color, and natural balance. Located in Almaty’s Central Design Cluster, the interior merges Scandinavian simplicity with biophilic design principles — where every element supports focus, creativity, and comfort

A neutral base of light wood and concrete is accented with soft pastel tones and vibrant green walls of preserved moss. Transparent partitions create an open flow between private and communal zones, while acoustic panels and textured finishes maintain intimacy and warmth

Each area — from the shared desks and meeting rooms to the breakout lounge — was designed to adapt to multiple work modes: collaboration, reflection, and relaxation. Natural light, greenery, and carefully chosen materials establish a calm yet dynamic atmosphere that encourages both productivity and connection.

This co-working space embodies a new philosophy of work — human-centered, flexible, and emotionally balanced
