The Starbucks store at Keruen Mall in Astana reflects the brand’s global identity — warm minimalism, natural materials, and a welcoming sense of rhythm and light. The project was executed under the global Starbucks design framework, developed by the brand’s Moscow-based design team
Untitled No.16 led the project management and local adaptation process, ensuring the seamless integration of the international design into the local construction environment. The scope included coordination with contractors and suppliers, technical documentation adjustments, quality control, and on-site supervision throughout the implementation phase
The interior maintains the signature Starbucks aesthetic — a combination of tactile wood, matte surfaces, and ambient lighting — while meeting all regional technical and architectural standards
Every design element was carefully adapted to preserve the brand’s identity and guest experience, from furniture detailing to acoustic finishes and lighting tone
The result is a space that feels globally recognizable yet locally grounded — authentic, calm, and perfectly executed
