Exclusive whisky lounge art deco architecture and luxury hospitality design with velvet sofas and illuminated whisky wall in Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Shymkent Shugayeva Darya

The Dram Society is an exclusive whisky bar concept developed by our studio for Beirut, Lebanon. Inspired by art deco elegance and whisky culture, the design creates a multi-layered hospitality journey across immersive spaces

At the center stands a marble-and-brass bar with an illuminated whisky wall and private lockers for personalized bottle storage. Surrounding lounges feature deep velvet sofas, Chesterfield seating, and sculptural lighting, setting the tone of intimacy and refinement

A signature feature is the series of private “character rooms” - The Orange Room, The Red Room, The Green Room, and The Blue Room. Each offers its own narrative, palette, and curated artworks, allowing the venue to host everything from private tastings and cigar evenings to social gatherings

Material richness defines the atmosphere: polished brass, black marble, textured concrete, and velvet upholstery layered with statement lighting. Together, they create a bar that merges heritage with contemporary Beirut nightlife
